Educational and Health Care Plan (EHCP) assessment

An EHC plan is a legal document that describes a child or young person’s special educational, health and social care needs.

This is a detailed assessment about the child’s occupational therapy needs at school and home. It explains the extra help that will be given to your child to meet those needs and also how that help will support the child or young person to achieve what she/he would like to do in their life.

For occupational therapy EHC plan, we liaised with school and observe the child in the classroom and also discuss the child’s needs with teachers and SENco to understand the child OT needs.

You will be provided with a detailed report addressing your child’s OT needs and recommendations which would help your child to reach his/her maximum potential.
